Ski trousers from Zizzi.
Functional ski trousers with adjustable waist with Velcro fastening, double button closure and front zip and waterproof side pockets with zip. At the bottom, the trousers have a zip at the back and internal elastic to prevent snow from getting in.
- These trousers have a water column pressure of 8000 mm.
The water column pressure stated for the ski trousers refers to a measurement of the water-repellent properties of the fabric. It indicates the amount of water in millimetres that can be pressed against the fabric before water starts to penetrate and soak it.
When it comes to waterproof materials, a waterproof membrane or coating is often used. It can be a thin film or layer of material applied to the outer fabric. This membrane is designed to prevent water from getting through the fabric while allowing moisture and vapour (sweat) from the inside to escape, maintaining comfort for the wearer.
There are different degrees of breathability depending on how quickly sweat can pass through the material. These trousers have a breathability of over 3000g/m2/d, making them ideal for outdoor physical activity such as skiing.
